NAVALCARNERO TO SAN MART\u00cdN DE VALDEIGLESIAS<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

To get to the start of the route from Madrid you can choose to use your own transport or arrive from one of the corridors that connect Madrid with the Grand tour of Ciclamadrid. To see the corresponding track search in Wikiloc: CycleMadrid Corredores.

We leave Navalcarnero<\/strong>, a town with more than 500 years of history that preserves the charm of its antiquity and captures the visitor with its tasty stews, its artistic wealth and the beauty of its landscape. Its main square, called Plaza de Segovia, and the church of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de la Asunci\u00f3n (16th century) are the main historical attractions of the town.

We pass through the town of Villamanta<\/strong>, and enter an area where a very beautiful holm oak forest begins. In the village you can visit the museum Casa del T\u00edo Breva that offers visitors an important archaeological, ethnographic and cultural heritage.

From Pelayos de la Presa you can visit the San Juan Reservoir<\/strong>, which has two areas suitable for swimming: Playa Virgen de la Nueva and Playa el Muro.

In San Mart\u00edn de Valdeiglesias<\/strong>, visit El Castillo de la Coracera and finish this route cycling through vineyards and forests. San Mart\u00edn de Valdeiglesias is one of the four subzones of the D.O. Vinos de Madrid. Heir to a great winemaking tradition that dates back to the 12th century and even appears in the literary texts of Jorge Manrique, Tirso de Molina and Cervantes.
