The Palacio de la Sagra was built at the end of the 18th century as a hunting lodge for the Marquis of Villanueva de la Sagra. It has a square floor plan with a rectangular side patio, a wooden gallery on columns and a Renaissance style doorway. In his long life he has seen almost everything: From the hands of the Marquis of Villanueva de la Sagra he went after the Patronage of the Child Jesus of Remedy, who used it as preventorio of children of leprous parents. During the Civil War it was used as an arsenal of weapons. At the end of the 90’s it was acquired and restored by the Chapinería Town Hall, which installed in it several municipal offices, among them the library and the ethnographic museum, as well as a tourist revitalization center.
