Puente romano sobre el arroyo del Caz

Puente romano sobre el arroyo del Caz

Calle de la Soledad, 3

28160 - Talamanca del Jarama

Of medieval construction with later transformations, but surely lifted on the remains of a Roman bridge, this bridge was located on the old road of France. It has almost 150 meters and is made of limestone ashlars, masonry and granite of Colmenar. It has a large central arch and four smaller ones that open only towards one of the slopes, possibly due to the topography of the terrain next to the old course of the capricious Jarama river.
