We start the day with a moment to discover Chinchón, a town that has an urban center full of tourist attractions, among others its famous Plaza Mayor, declared the 4th material wonder of the Community of Madrid. Get to know its typical products such as anise, oil, garlic and wine. Visit the Clock Tower or the Lope de Vega Theater.
We went through Colmenar de la Oreja. The heart of the municipality is its Plaza Mayor, built on a ravine between 1676 and 1794, and the Church of Santa María la Mayor. The history of the village is linked to the cultivation of vineyards, wineries and the production of whites, rosés, reds and sparkling wines.
The Casa Rural de Vega de Tielmes is an excellent place if you want to stay overnight and continue the rest of the route the next day.
In the town of Villarejo de Salvanés do not forget to visit La Torre del Homenaje, unique in its kind, its cinema museum or the Casa de la Tercia. In addition, Villarejo de Salvanés is well known for the amount of vineyards and olive trees that are cultivated in its territory.
Nuevo Baztán was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1941. The town is a Baroque luxury and has the most advanced industrial complex of its time, a precursor of the great task of modernization and industrialization of Spain, undertaken by the first Bourbons. In addition, the town has several trails to explore its spectacular natural environment on foot or by bicycle.
