Partially retracing the path of the previous stage in the opposite direction, we will return to the tail of the Picadas reservoir. From there we will walk along a practically flat stretch of road bordering the reservoir until we reach its headwaters. From this point we will descend to the road that, gently downhill, will lead us to Aldea del Fresno.
The last stretch of road requires a lot of attention, especially the passage over the bridge over the Alberche River, very close to Aldea del Fresno. The entire road that crosses the Picadas valley is spectacular for its natural and scenic wealth and for the presence of large birds of prey that are usually easily spotted.
