Nous quittons San Lorenzo de El Escorial par la zone de La Herrería et nous nous dirigeons vers Zarzalejo, à l'ombre de Las Machotas, en descendant clairement vers la Sierra Oeste. À Peralejo, un hameau de la municipalité d'El Escorial, près de Zarzalejo, vous trouverez le centre naturel Cañada Real, où vous pourrez apprécier un bon échantillon de la faune et de la flore de la Sierra de Guadarrama.
